Reporting
to the Senior Regional Director for Compass One, Western Canada, the Multi
Sector Manager will have exposure to all sectors (Patient Food
Services, Retail Food Services, Environmental Services and Residential Care) and
will have cross sector training to ensure all areas are supported. This position is ideal for an established
manager in either Food, Environmental or Senior Services who is looking to
expand their skill set as a manager and striving for future career advancement
opportunities.

To achieve our goals we need people whose focus is
employee and customer satisfaction and are driven by their “can-do”
attitude. This position may be required
to supervise employees and manage the day to day operations to ensure quality
standards are met and maintained. Areas of responsibility include
administration, staffing/scheduling, client/customer relations, production and
knowledge of healthcare systems that encompasses all aspects of the Food,
Housekeeping, Laundry, and Maintenance services.
- Project work as assigned
- Manager vacation coverage (multi-site/sector opportunity)
- Recruiting
- Labour Relations management
- Financial reporting
- Payroll and Scheduling
- Training in-services and staff meetings
- Auditing (Quality Assurance, Health and Safety and Environmental Services)
- Day to Day operation support and supervision
- Compliance with Compass’ Quality Assurance, Occupational Health and Safety Act and WHMIS regulations.
- Assist in menu planning & development

Required Qualifications
·
Eligible to obtain membership in the Canadian Society of Nutrition
Management (CSNM)
·
Minimum 2
years Management experience (Acute/Residential healthcare setting is an asset)
- Experience in Environmental services
- Excellent verbal and written English language communication skills.
- Excellent supervisory, leadership and coaching skills
- Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
- Proven customer/ client relationship skills
- A very detail oriented individual and a strong team player
- Good understanding in financials (budgeting, forecasting and administration)
- Proficient with MS Office Applications, Word, Excel and Power Point
- Flexibility and reliable transportation
