Work Performed:
Operations, Budgets and Profitability
  • Manages all F&B and Culinary day-to-day operations.
  • Achieves budgeted revenues & expenses and maximize profitability related to the food & beverage department.
  • Measures, analyzes, and communicates F&B financial performance using a variety of financial and non-financial data including controllable costs, sales revenue, guest satisfaction, and employee engagement data.

Business Strategy Development and Execution

  • Develops and executes business plans designed to maximize property customer satisfaction, profitability, and market share.
  • Experiments with new ideas and takes calculated risks to improve guest satisfaction and profitability.
Sales and Marketing
  • Markets the food & beverage outlets, develop and manages the implementation of menus, package deals, promotions, displays, decorations and presentation within corporate guidelines to meet / exceed sales and financial goals and objectives.
  • Identifies and champions creative marketing solutions that fit the brand and property needs.
  • Oversees the development and implementation of innovative promotional and sales events by seeking out creative ways to improve service and increase business volumes.
  • Develops innovative means for capturing new streams of revenue through newly created and renovated facilities such as brewery and meeting & banquet spaces.
  • Works with sales and marketing teams to establish and manage strategic plans, goals, and action plans.
Staff Management
  • Ensures staff adhere to Standard Brand and Operating Procedures, Safety and emergency protocols, including COVID-19 protocols and Staff Policy Manual.
  • Ensures staff have a deep understanding and respect for customer service standards.
  • Provides timely, real-time feedback to managers and hourly employees on service and operational standards, including feedback and reinforcement of standards on even the smallest of service and operational details.

Experience/Education/Training
  • A minimum of 5 years’ F&B management experience as a F&B Manager in a convention, major chain restaurant or full-service hotel F&B operations.
  • 2-4 year degree/diploma from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Food service or related professional area.
  • Previous experience successfully improving business performance and results.
