Marquise Hospitality is looking for an experienced Food Service Manager (FSM) to cover an immediate temporary leave at a large complex long term care home on the North Shore. The qualified candidate must be a member in good standing of the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management, have a clear criminal record check for BC, hold an Advanced Food Safe Certificate, and have experience managing food services in long term care.

Major roles and responsibilities include:
  • Manage all food production following specified menus and standardized recipes
  • Manage food cost and inventory within budget
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of all Food and Nutrition Services employees
  • Schedule work within the prescribed labour budget and collective agreement
  • Maintain high food safety and health and safety standards
  • Complete audits in accordance with the home’s Continuous Quality Improvement program
  • Promote a resident first attitude at all times
