Salary: $55,000 (vehicle allowance: $325 / bi-weekly, gas card)

Now, if you were to
come on board as one of our Food
Nutrition Manager (Quality Control), we’d ask you to do the
following for us:
- Complete regular operational food service audits in unit; prepare corrective action plans and distribute to stakeholders
- Backfill for a Food Service Manager on leave (sick, bereavement, vacation or emergency leave) including staffing, ordering food and supplies, receiving shipments, dealing with suppliers, managing resident diet changes and admissions as well as HR related issues such as orientations and performance management
- Perform clinical work in PCC (PointClickCare) as required
- Work collaboratively with unit team as well as the dietitian
- Reinforce a strong safety culture and make recommendations for corrective action related to safety contraventions, whether food or occupational
- Recommend any training or re-training requirements for both hourly and management staff
- Maintain resident profile records

for the role. Here’s how we’ll know you’ll be successful in the role:
- Certified Nutrition Manager from the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (CSNM)
- At least 3 years’ experience with institutional feeding or large scale dining within long term care
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and past experience leading a team of more than 5 direct reports
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Solid verbal and written communication skills as well as organizational skills
- Proven relationship building and interpersonal skills
- Confident and comfortable meeting new clients, residents and others with a sincere interest to work in Senior Living
