Sodexo Healthcare Canada is seeking an individual to join the food services team at Richmond Hospital to fill the role as the Part Time Food Service Supervisor. The Food Service Supervisor must be available to work on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm.
As the Food Service Supervisor, you will learn to lead the team in co-coordinating food production, meal preparation and ensuring all staff maintains the standards for quality and service at all times. The role also ensures that safe work practices are followed and all sanitation standards are met.
Salary: $22.00 per hour
Accountabilities
Your role as the Food Service Supervisor includes but is not limited to the following:
- Checking dinner tray line
- Preparing cash reports, coin orders & balancing petty cash
- Scheduling in a union environment
- Managing day to day operations & quality assurance
- Ensure all food safe and physical safety policies and procedures are adhered to
- Food safety audits, daily inspections, temperature checks
- Motivate/coach staff
- Process catering requests
Who You Are
- Nutrition and Food Service Management Diploma or Dietetics Degree
- CSNM membership or eligible for CSNM
- Food Safe Certificate Level 1 and 2
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets
- Have experience with Scheduling, HACCP, Food Safety and Cash Handling
Requirement upon hire:
- Current vaccinations records (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Polio, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis A & B, Tuberculosis, Measles, Yearly Influenza (Flu))
- Valid criminal record check through Ministry of Justice
- Have the ability to meet the organizational and physical requirements of the position
- Black slip resistant shoes
