Food & Beverage Manager, CrownIsle Resort & Golf Community

$60,000 - $70,000 a year
Job description:
Extremely people-oriented leader with excellent customer appreciation and people leadership skills. Able to set a positive tone for people when working under pressure and to create an ambience "where people want to be.”
Must be able to find the correct balance between revenue generation, cost management, labour percentages and customer experience ratings. Bottom-line contribution to resort as a whole is essential.
Must be able to coach and train people to achieve the highest-levels of service and attention. To be creative with menu design, in concert with the Executive Chef, and be willing to experiment to create unique experiences for resort and event guests. Must be in the habit of saying “yes” and able to create cost-effective solutions to situations as they arise.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead a dedicated and professional team, able and willing to meet the expectations of guests and management.
*Specific responsibilities:
*
- Organize, direct and evaluate food & beverage services
- Set a high standard for staff, with an emphasis on developing strong relationships with loyal customers
- Assist with recruitment and training of staff
- Optimize shift scheduling to improve customer satisfaction ratings balanced with bottom-line contribution
- Strong track record of managing purchases and inventory control
- Ensure health and safety regulations & practices are respected
- Must know the financials of operating multi-site food & beverage operations
Qualifications:
- Excellent leadership skills
- Strong customer relationship skills
- Strong collaborative skills with fellow department heads to ensure the highest quality of service
- Able to strengthen the reputation of the brand and Crown Isle on social media sites
- Deep understanding of Inventory management
- Ability to work well under pressure and bring customer solutions quickly and professionally to evolving issues
- Exceptional organization skills
- At least 5 - 8 years of food & beverage experience
Remuneration:
- Range from $ 60,000 - $ 70,000 based on experience
