Grow your career with a company that shares your passion. Our Healthcare Division is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of General Manager for our Retail Cafeteria Hospital site located in North Vancouver, BC.
In your new role at our
hospital Retail Food account, you will be responsible for successfully
coordinating and directing all retail food service activities. This role will
require your strong knowledge and background working with branded concept food
service as well as retail food service operations. This role supports catering
for events at the hospital as well as meetings. This is where you will
showcase your amazing flair for creativity and culinary expression.

Accountabilities:
You will drive a standard and consistency in food,
food service delivery as well as management across the site. Using your
branded food experience, you will build and maintain a solid and mutually
beneficial business relationship including high levels of client and customer
satisfaction and account retention; strong employee relations; achievement of
financial goals; and future business growth plans. You will utilize your strong
budget and financial acumen daily to create an efficient cost-effective site.
Growth and Development:
- 3 -5 years’ experience in restaurant management with strong culinary and catering experience
- CSNM designation is not mandatory for this role – it is an asset
- Demonstrated successful financial, budget management and P/L skills
- Strong leadership skills - able to direct, coach, and supervise a team
- Excellent customer service
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Manage and execute all aspects of the front of house, human resources: recruitment and selection, training, performance management, recognition and development
- Lead a strong safety culture
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
- A positive and team-oriented attitude.
- Able to work with minimal supervision and have a strong initiative.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
