We are looking for a strong Food Service Manager to join our team of professionals. We are a leader in the industry, and we are looking for individuals who have a passion for the elderly and giving back to join our team.
WORK PERFORMED
- Responsible for inventory control and ordering of supplies.
- Ensures equipment failures are reported and repaired in the absence of the Support Services Manager.
- Responsible for verifying departmental related invoices and forwarding to Business Office for payment.
- Responsible for preparing and maintaining department schedules and understanding of payroll input and procedures.
- Ensures Team Member and residential rights of privacy and confidentiality are maintained.
- Participates on committees when requested.
- Investigates and follows up on all reported safety concerns. Document your findings, and provide to the Executive Team and/or HR.
- Complete all Incident/Injury/Near Miss Investigations within 14 days of occurrence.
- Report new/changed hazards to workers immediately.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Grade 12 education
- Food Safe Level 1 Certificate and CSNM Certifications
- Strong communication skills in English
- Legally allowed to work in Canada
