JOB SUMMARY
Position: Food and Beverage Manager

Job Location: Victoria, BC
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
Work Performed:
- Help manage the daily operations of the hotels’ outlets.
- Help develop, implement, and continually improve service standards.
- Motivate and engage team members to deliver the best possible service consistently.
- Coordinate and host quarterly FOH meetings.
- Resolve guest concerns/issues efficiently and courteously to prevent a reoccurrence and ensure guest will become a repeat customer.
- Ensure appropriate food and beverage management coverage on weekends and holidays in the outlets to ensure consistently high levels of guest service are maintained.
- Active role in inventory management and ordering, in accordance with budget constraints.
- Scheduling and close monitoring of labour.
- Stay on schedule with team member reviews.
- Ongoing enforcement and reviewing of hotel COVID policies and procedures.
- Morning, evenings, and weekend work is required.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in a similar environment is required.
- 2 years of leadership experience within the food and beverage industry is required.
- Post-secondary education in hospitality management an asset.
- Strong working knowledge of hospitality industry principles, methods, practices, and techniques as they relate to all areas of food and beverage specifically in a luxury environment.
- Sincere customer focus and a genuine appreciation for the guest experience.
- Highly organized, goal and results oriented with ability to execute plans and manage change.
- Effective decision-making abilities coupled with sound judgement.
- Strong personal integrity with an innate desire to work in an ethical manner.
