Position: Support Services Manager
Work Performed:
Responsible for the management of 12-17 staff members, and employs a “hands-on” approach to team communication and success. The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal and written communications skills as well as the ability to work well with others and be sensitive to their problems, concerns, and goals. This position also assumes the role of a leader in planning, directing, developing, and managing the support services department. The responsibilities include meeting and adhering to professional standards; complying with organizational and corporate policies and procedures; complying with licensing regulations; supporting corporate and organizational missions, goals, and values; promoting teamwork among associates and fostering positive resident outcomes. Being ‘on call’ in the event of an emergency will be a requirement of this position.
Qualifications:
Education
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
License/Certification
- Canadian Society of Nutrition Management certification (required)
- Food Safety Certification (required)
