Work Performed:
- Organize the patient menus to ensure accuracy of diet order, timeliness of meal service, and smooth food service operations
- Responsible for the production of meal tickets, nourishment labels, and production tallies for patient menus
- Responds to interdepartmental telephone inquiries, maintains all office equipment and supply inventory for nutrition office.
Qualifications:
Education, Training, and Experience
Grade 12 plus one year's recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Completion of Level 2 Food Safe program.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Ability to organize work.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
- Ability to keyboard at 45 wpm
