Position: Commissary Kitchen Team Leader (Food Services)

WORK PERFORMED
The Team Leader will be responsible, but not limited to, for supporting and overseeing the team on each of their daily activities. This will be achieved via follow ups and check-ins, throughout the shift and production schedule, in all the areas below:
- Meal kit production and confirmation
- Picking order production and confirmation
- Labelling and dating confirmation
- Portion Control
- Product Quality
- Sanitation processes
- Temperature control logging
- Involvement in team driven actions to help improvement
- Contribute to the development of new methods/supervise the corrective solutions in place to resolve problems occurring during QM
Production and Day-to-day Operations:
- During day-to-day operations, the QM leader will be expected to take part in all general production
- Time management will be essential to allow for time in production as well as training and coaching and record keeping
Administration
- Some administration may be necessary when creating new policies and procedures
- Detailed record keeping will be necessary for temperature logging, errors, and resolution
QUALIFICATIONS
- Food Safe Certification
- Educated in related field an asset
- Knowledge of inventory control and food storage procedures an asset
- Knowledge of provincial health, sanitization, and safety regulations
- You pride yourself on quality of work and you have a keen eye for detail
