Position: Catering Event Supervisor

Job Location: Vancouver, BC
Full/Part Time: Full-time / Part-time
Salary: $24 - $28 an hour

  

WORK PERFORMED

• Our Catered Event Captains are the face of our company.
• Event Captains liaise with our clients on site while working with and directing our catering staff.
• Event Captains are responsible for managing the event and maintaining the event timeline, setting up, and striking the event with our event staff.
• Types of events include: plated dinners, all passed appetizers with bars, buffet services with bars, house parties, and weddings.
• You would be managing servers, bartenders, and chefs while working on site.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Serving it Right Certificate.
• Must drive and have a valid BC Driver's Licence.
• Open availabiliity to work both mroning and evening events.
• Min. 4 years of catering or hospitality management, supervisory experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Adept at conflict resolution.
• Advanced problem solving and delegating skills.
• Confident leadership qualities including staff motivation, staff direction.
• Ability to follow and maintain written and oral directions for timelines and room setups.
• Calm demeanor when working under pressure.
• Physically fit for loading and moving event equipment.
• Work Remotely
