Support Services Manager - Victoria

JOB SUMMARY

Position: Support Services Manager
Company: The Heights at Mountview
Job Location: Victoria, BC
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Work Performed:
  • Managing team members in Housekeeping, Food Services, Laundry and Janitorial
  • Monitors preparation of food menus and ensures dietary needs and standards are met and costs remain within the allotted budget
  • Implementation and control of a Food Safety Plan as well as HACCP, WHMIS, and all WCB regulations for a safe workplace
  • Visual and hands-on audits are completed monthly to ensure department cleanliness and maintenance
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and train new team members on their job duties, sanitizations and safety procedures in a unionized setting
  • Facilitating ongoing communication with stakeholders in the facility including administration, nursing, residents and their families
  • Complete payroll, period summaries and financial reports in a timely and accurate manner
  • Monitors all operating expenditures, as well as purchases and stores inventory

Qualifications:
  • Must be willing to be registered in the CSNM Program and dedicated to learn the industry and residential care guidelines
  • Valid Food Safe Level 1 and WHMIS
  • Clear Criminal Record Check
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccinations
