WORK PERFORMED
- Report directly to Director Support Services.
- Must have a strong understanding of English, both spoken and written.
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Have strong problem solving, decision-making and analytical skills.
- Assisting the daily operations of Food Service, Housekeeping and Laundry Services.
- Ability to supervise, evaluate and coordinate in all department.
- Develops and follows appropriate policies, procedures, job routines to meet the need of the site.
- Ensure that proper staff coverage for the department has been arranged
- Ability to cover a shift on an occasion of staff shortages, and to assist staff when the need arise.
- Ability to deal with others effectively and maintain good interpersonal relations.
- Ability to respond to emergencies and multiple demands.
- Ability to organize work.
- Understand Resident dietary restrictions and immediately correct any issues.
- Conducts daily, weekly and monthly audits to all departments.
- Conducts regular inventory of housekeeping supplies and order same.
- Perform duties according to health & safety work practices.
- At least two (2) years of supervisory experience, preferably in a healthcare or hotel environment.
- Membership of CSNM / CNM or eligible to join.
- Knowledge of HACCP & IDDSI
- Food Safe Level 1 Certificate
