WORK PERFORMED
- Working with clients on special events, creating catering plans, and ensuring projects are completed according to customers’ needs
- Recruiting, Training and Scheduling Catering employees
- Facilitating the delivery of banquet event orders, providing “hands-on” support and overseeing staff
- Implementing the highest of quality service, food and environmental safety standards
- Providing reports outlining labour targets, budgets, revenue, expenses, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum 3 years’ related experience
- Proven management and leadership skills
- A background in catering and special events
- Related post-secondary education including Certificates in Food Handling and Alcohol Service
- The ability to work event-based hours
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical abilities to stand for extended periods of time and to lift, carry and push up to 50 lbs.
- The ability to pass a Criminal Background Check
