Prepares and cooks a variety of foods in accordance with established menus and production schedules, following standardized recipes and approved portioning proceduresEnsures that all products are received, prepared, stored and served according to safe food handling principlesSupervises kitchen staff, and trains them when it is necessaryPerforms all work in accordance with facility, AgeCare and regulatory safety procedures and requirements including OSM, WHMIS and OH & SAssists with development of a 4 week seasonal menu rotation, including trialing new menu items and recipesPerforms all duties in a manner in which resident safety is the focusQUALIFICATIONS
