Position: Director of Food & Beverage

WORK PERFORMED
  • The Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for the food and beverage operation at Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa. 
  • They coordinate and direct all aspects of the division to achieve profitability, guest satisfaction and efficiency while maintaining high level quality standards. 
  • This position manages four outlets, Bar, Restaurant, In-Room Dining and Banquets. 
  • This is a hands on position and requires direct management of the outlets while on duty.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum three years hotel experience at a senior management level preferred.
  • Minimum four years Food & Beverage management experience.
  • Strong financial background in particular to budgeting and forecasting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to lead a very diverse team of managers effectively.
  • Strong knowledge and passion of food and beverage.
  • Excellent computer skills including Micros, Delphi, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Food Safe Level 1 and Serving it Right for Licensees.
  • Post-secondary certification in Hotel management an asset.
  • Ability to gather, compare, analyze and present data.
  • Ability to deal with all levels of management and staff in a professional manner.
  • Excellent time management skills with attention to detail and accuracy
