WORK PERFORMED
  • Develop high-level strategies to improve customer service, generate revenue and productivity while controlling expenses across multiple brands
  • Establish improvement objectives in these areas and manage objectives towards completion.
  • Audit venue execution with Regional Managers and provide constructive feedback.
  • Elevate overall service standards across all brands and hold regional and venue level managers accountable for service standard delivery through constructive feedback and continuous coaching.
  • Host weekly meetings with Regional Managers that support growth and development at the business and personal/ career level.
  • Assist in the creation of marketing plans and strategies.
  • Develop new and analyze existing policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
  • Active leadership in Head Office initiatives, ensuring compliance with all applicable requirements and delegating competent supervision for initiatives as applicable.
  • Act as a liaison from Front-of-House to Back-of-House operations and collaborate to proactively avoid and resolve issues in a timely fashion.
  • Effectively communicate across all areas of the business, including Head Office support teams, Front-of-House and Back-of-House operations.
  • Consult and negotiate on vendor contracts to ensure high quality inputs at the best available price and ensure venues maximize use of Concorde’s identified preferred vendors.
  • Ensure period-end processes for inventory control are complete and accurate.
  • Continually review periodic financial results to ensure labor, product cost and promo budgets are met and responds proactively to analyze and address budget variances.
  • Provide regular direction and support to direct reports; including development plans and the performance management process.
  • Consult on the development of training plans within venues with the goal of creating the highest quality customer service.
  • Execute Human Resources strategies to grow and develop a team of future leaders to support company growth, participating in company succession planning initiatives to maintain a “growth from within” strategy
  • Execute Human Resource Strategies to recruit and retain high quality talent and reduce turnover.
  • Administer prompt, fair, and consistent performance management (and investigations where necessary) for all confirmed or alleged violations of company policies, rules, and procedures.
  • Be knowledgeable and professionally execute Human Resources processes and policies in accordance with deadlines.
  • Fully understand and ensure compliance at all venues with Occupational Health and Safety, Alberta Human Rights, Alberta Employment Standards legislation.
  • Ensure proper reporting of venue incidents involving staff or patrons.
  • Communicate with Regional Managers on timelines given for openings, renovations, events & meetings. Note and align logistics needed with Regionals and the Executive Team.
  • Maintain professional dress standards and good hygiene standards at all times - especially when representing the company in front of patrons and business partners;
  • Maintain high standards to promote company values, mission, and culture
  • Collaboration and teamwork throughout all levels of the organization exhibiting leadership to drive shared success.
  • All other job duties and support activities as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1-3 years in a Senior Restaurant Operations role plus 5+ years of general management experience
  • A post-secondary degree with a focus in business or another related field is considered an asset
  • Outstanding organizational, analytical, and project management skills
  • Strategic mindset with demonstrated success in the implementation of successful new initiatives
  • Experience growing complex business strategies and reporting on the results using meaningful data and metrics
  • Agile outlook with an ability to identify and execute on unique opportunities when they arise.
  • Confident, driven, and dynamic leader with a proven track record of success in management roles
