Job Salary: $60,000–$70,000 a year
WORK PERFORMED
- Maintain inventory control and reporting as per fiscal schedule.
- Schedule, hire, train, performance manage and discipline all support service staff.
- Build and maintain a strong Support Service Team.
- Implement and control the Food Safety Plan as well as HACCP, WHMIS, and all WCB regulations for a safe work place.
- Liaise, attend and be part of meetings and functions with the on-site client as needed.
- Train Support Service staff in daily duties as well as proper safety procedures as set by in house client, company and government regulations.
- Maintain orderly and complete administrative and personnel files.
- Complete payroll, period summaries, operations reports and sales reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain appropriate budgetary and cost controls.
- Implement and manage the Quality Assurance program as outlined by the company and the client, including weekly and monthly audits.
- Minimum of 3 years of Food Service management experience
- Proven financial management skills including the ability to control product and labour costs on a weekly basis.
- Experience with food service catering
- Strong supervisory skills and the capability to motivate, lead and develop staff
- Superior customer service skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- POS System an asset
- Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) experience and the creative ability to apply current trendy food items and presentations to food service operations preferred
