WORK PERFORMED
- Accountable for the appearance of all F&B outlets and ensuring we are providing an animated and inviting atmosphere for all our guests.
- Review of all customer comments through various voice of customer avenues and then providing the F&B team the framework and planning to act on any changes for continual improvement.
- The position will be responsible for all facets of the financial performance including, operating and capital budgets, forecasting, future development plan, weekly and monthly financial report review and analysis, labor, inventory and other costs controls.
- Your objective will be to meet and exceed contribution targets while improving profitability and growing the average spend per room night.
- You will be responsible for all corporate partner agreements pertaining to food & beverage vendors as well as supporting our resort partner agreements.
- You will lead a large team of dedicated employees and be responsible for creating an environment, which will recruit, hire, develop, retain and recognize the best employees. Your success will ultimately be measured by our guests; however, the employee experience will be critical to the division’s success.
- Results for our employee surveys and direct report performance reviews will be considered in measuring your success.
- Equal success in these key areas will be the ongoing focus for the future success of our resort.
QUALIFICATIONS
- This is a fulltime, year-round position
- Minimum 5 years in leadership roles with strong business acumen
- Minimum of (5) years of multi-unit management experience in high volume operations. (resort operations considered a strong asset)
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer literacy especially with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with F&B POS systems.
- Culinary certification considered a strong asset.
- Proven business savvy and a strong financial controls background.
- Serving it right and food safe level 1 certificates are required.
