- Upholds and complies with company procedures, standards and policies in all situations
- Greets customers in a polite and friendly manner
- Demonstrates superior customer service skills
- Offers samples to customers
- Hot and cold food preparation, including sandwiches, chickens, salads, soups and specialty trays
- Use of commercial power equipment, including slicers and ovens
- Writing product orders
- Receiving and rotating products
- Filling product display cases
- Supervises a team of 15-20 people at a time
- Schedules employees based on store labour needs
- Prioritizes tasks
- Multitasks efficiently and effectively
- Maintains cleanliness of work area
- Friendly disposition
- Customer service focused
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, high-volume environment
- Willing to work early mornings, daytime, evenings, weekends and holidays – access to own vehicle is required as transit may not be sufficient
- Ability to learn quickly
