Job salary: $70,000–$72,000 a year
WORK PERFORMED
- Manage and evaluate departmental goals, objectives, policies and procedures to ensure the food services standards, food safety, sanitation and housekeeping standards, environment safety, cleanliness are met.
- Manage assigned budgets by monitoring expenditures and taking actions as required.
- Order, food & housekeeping supplies and resolve discrepancies with suppliers.
- Develop and complete nutritional assessments/care plans, monitor and recommend supplement usage.
- Develop educational resources for staff, residents and families
- Participate in Care Conferences, wound care programs
- Have a Restricted Activities A certification
- Member of Canadian Society of Nutrition Management and College of Dietitians of BC mandatory and in good standing.
- Culinary certificate from recognized Institution preferred
- Previous working experience in long term care and assisted living facility
- Food Safe Certificate Level 1 & 2
- WHIMS certificate
- Must obtain a Criminal Record Check clearance performed by BC Ministry of Public Safety & Solicitor General
