Work Performed:
- The management position is responsible for operations of nutrition and support services (housekeeping & laundry) services in a safe, efficient, and effective manner, through staff supervision and administrative duties.
- The position monitors supply inventories, supply ordering and receipt of goods, and ensure compliance with all food safety regulations.
- The position assures dietary services supports creating and maintaining a home-like environment and relationships for the residents.
- Supervises a team integrated with Support Services and conducts safety audits of food and environment.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from a recognized Food Service Supervision program or equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
- Food safe Level Two certification
- WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) certification
- Membership in Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (CSNM)/Eligible for CSNM membership
- Experience in a Long Term Care facility is preferred
