Work Performed:
- Develop, evaluate and modify nutritional care plans for Residents; liaise with Residents, family members and/or substitute decision makers and the interdisciplinary team when implementing dietary interventions.
- Oversee menu planning process and prepare cycle menus to meet requirements in the Community Care and Assisted Living Act.
- Establish and review nutritional care plans for new residents.
- Ensure that meals and snacks meet the requirements of the most recent edition of Canada’s Food Guide to Healthy Eating.
- Schedule: Part time = 14 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- Current registration with the College of Dieticians of British Columbia
- Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition
- Experience working within a senior’s residence is an asset
- Must successfully pass the prescribed criminal records check for the vulnerable sector and provide proof of vaccinations
