WORK PERFORMED

• Reporting to the Dean, the Associate Director contributes to student success by providing day-to-day leadership and management for the effective operation of the school. 
• The Associate Director works with the Dean to ensure seamless coordination of services and activities related to school wide initiatives, monitoring of systems for operational efficiency, and oversight of activities to support student success and academic quality.
• The Associate Director works with faculty, staff, and administrative services in the college to lead financial and human resource operations, faculty evaluation, provide professional development opportunities and other related duties as required.
• The Associate Director contributes to the development of school and academic plans, provides leadership in operationalizing key policies, procedures, objectives, and initiatives that promote achieving the college’s strategic goals and objectives.
• The Associate Director collaborates with other members of the school’s leadership team, key institutional stakeholders, and community partners.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A graduate degree in a relevant field from an accredited post-secondary institution.
• Five (5) to seven (7) years of recent related experience in a leadership role within a unionized post-secondary environment and experience in curriculum development and teaching, and experience with articulation, accreditation and/or regulatory bodies.
• Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
