WORK PERFORMED
- Development of Menus for on-site preparation at both the Gas Station and Grocery Store.
- Manage all sales, organization, and coordination of catering, including the supervision and distribution of food, beverages, and other supplies.
- Work with clients and events from start to finish, including original inquiry, coordination of service, post-event follow-up, and billing.
- Ensure standards of quality and service are consistently met.
- Ensure sanitation, health, food safety, and safety standards are met.
- Coordinate food and supply orders with Store Managers and Suppliers.
- Manage inventory for products and supplies related to catering operations.
- Development of Standard Operating Procedures.
- Hire, train, and supervise food & beverage staff.
- Ensure proper staffing to fulfill orders.
- Maintain a flexible schedule to facilitate supervision of daily operations and catering events as assigned.
- Oversee and manage all day-to-day aspects of catering.
- Oversite and tracking of department profit margins, operating costs and payroll.
- Develop and adjust food production volumes according to sales and client needs to mitigate food waste.
- Set product pricing in keeping within margin targets and competitor pricings.
- Report weekly to Tsipun Store Manager on expenses and revenues.
- Conduct regular safety checks of kitchen and kitchen equipment.
- Lead safety meetings with catering staff
- Two years’ experience with catering operations
- 2- 3 years of supervisory skills and experience; capable of motivating, leading and developing a team.
- Can accommodate flexible work schedule (days, nights, and weekends)
- Current Food Safe Level 1 Certification
- Current First Aid Certification
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
- Ability to work independently and as an integral member of various teams.
- Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines prioritizes assignments, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Motivated self-starter and with strong interpersonal skills.
- Highly professional in all aspects of business, presentation and interaction with all stakeholders, clients, and Members.
