Job salary: $50,000–$90,000 a year

WORK PERFORMED
  • Oversees personnel management including hiring and development of training and coaching programs.
  • Plans and hosts monthly safety and departmental informational meetings.
  • Satisfies all guest requirements by ensuring that service is constantly maintained at a consistently high standard.
  • Evaluates and recommends methods for revenue generation, projects expenditures and prepares operating budget.
  • Responsible for proper accounting and recording of all beverage sales while ensuring that the pouring measures are being followed according to standard operating procedures.
  • Maintains adequate levels of supplies and places orders considering storage space available, current stock, and expected customer demand ensure that all products are on-hand at all times for F&B outlets.
  • Implements, controls, and reviews all procedures relating to stock control, cash handling, purchasing and stock & waste disposal.
  • Ensures that pricing updates and changes as communicated by the Director of Hospitality are reflected on the menus and point of sale system.
  • Ensures that all financial reporting is maintained and accurate (billing, payroll, cash outs etc …)
  • Responsible for the appropriate and timely set up of all functions, catering events and meetings while maintaining standards of food, beverage and meeting specifications.
  • Ensures that rooms are set-up and service delivery is carried out according to guest expectations and event orders.
  • Develops strong customer relations through frequent communication and the use of professional, courteous and ethical interpersonal interaction in delivery and service of food.
  • Projects staffing based on need and monitors work schedules.
  • Sets standard for ambiance and product presentation/service.
  • Develops and maintains a safe culture within the department and ensures adherence to and awareness of Health and Safety Standards.
  • Provide monthly written updates and reports to the leadership team.
  • All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
  • Completion of Hospitality Management program from an accredited college or university
  • Food Safety Certification
  • WHIMIS Certification
  • Pro Serve Certification
  • Protect Certification
  • First Aid/CPR/AED Certification is an asset
  • Five (5) years of management / supervisory experience in the Food & Beverage industry.
