WORK PERFORMED
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for group sales, catering events, and conferences.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, meeting planners, and key industry partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and lead the sales team in prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to develop effective promotional strategies and campaigns.
- Oversee the catering operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay updated on industry trends and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and event management within the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
- Proven track record of success in sales and catering, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
