Position: Culinary Director

Salary job: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
WORK PERFORMED
- This role is responsible for menu collaboration, people, service, sales and profit outcomes of the restaurants, ensuring adherence to brand standards and developing action plans in partnership with the location’s culinary management team to improve operational performance.
- This role leads and develops location Chefs de Cuisine to build strong internal systems and culture, holding them accountable for their location, with the overall goal of meeting or exceeding their objectives in guest, culinary experience, team development, and financial targets.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years as a Chef de Cuisine and 2+ years of multi-unit experience within restaurants
- Experience with location openings
- Proven ability to lead, manage, and develop teams
- Proven success in controlling menu, labour and supplies costs and pricing
- Experience with ensuring adherence to kitchen cleanliness and safety standards including food safety certification
- Experience with Italian cuisine and culture is an asset
- Excellent verbal, reading and writing skills
- Takes on new opportunities and tough challenges with urgency, high energy and enthusiasm
- Able to prepare timely information accurately, including reports to demonstrate Restaurant performance
- Food Safe required
