WORK PERFORMED
- The Manager, Meal Services at Inn from the Cold (The Inn) is responsible for the day to day overall operations of the kitchen.
- The Manager, Meal Services will lead the kitchen team with the goal of preparing and delivering nutritious meals to clients at the Inn from the Cold shelter.
- This position is a member of the Leadership team at Inn from the Cold and contributes to Inn from the Cold’s mission to end family homelessness.

- 2 – 5 years’ experience professional cooking and planning and preparing meals in a similar role
- Food Safe and WHIMIS Certificates an asset
- Strong leadership, staff supervision and coaching skills
- Proven ability with Monthly Menu planning experience and food ordering
- Customer (Internal and External) Service Orientation: Desire to help or serve others in a professional manner
- Communication: Ability to speak and write clearly and succinctly in a variety of settings and styles; ability to secure information, listen effectively and get messages across that have the desired effect.
