WORK PERFORMED

• Working with the Student Health and Wellbeing unit as part of the Health Equity, Promotion and Education team, the Coordinator, Food, Nutrition, and Food Security is responsible for supporting student wellbeing and success through health education and/or health promotion initiatives, programs and projects, with the Okanagan Charter for Health Promoting Universities and Colleges as a key guiding framework.
• The Coordinator is responsible for designing, delivering and assessing evidence-based approaches to support food literacy, food skill and food security for students. 
• The Coordinator will oversee the Food Hub Market, a student led, volunteer run food security initiative, to provide low cost groceries to the UBC student community, improve food literacy, and amplify other food security initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline. 
• Minimum of one to two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
