Work Performed:
- Reporting directly to the Regional Director, HRIS & Staffing Services, the Regional Manager, Staffing Services is responsible and accountable for the overall operational management of staffing services for Northern Health. The incumbent will utilize an innovative approach, including collaboration and strategy development, to improve staff utilization patterns, processes and planning across Northern Health. The Regional Manager, Staffing Services will continuously seek opportunities to incorporate client feedback into new or changing models while improving consistency and efficiencies of staffing systems and processes.
- Starting salary will be approximately from $102,938 to $128,673 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Healthcare Administration or Human Resources;
- Seven (7) years’ experience including two (2) years in a management position in a unionized healthcare environment;
- Familiarity with collective agreements and competent in the interpretation of collective agreement language;
- Experience with integrated computerized staff scheduling systems and payroll/finance systems;
- Experience in human resources, staff scheduling, payroll and benefits practices and related business processes;
- Experience in a team based environment that promotes clear expectations, accountability and team problem solving within clearly defined parameters;
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
