Job salary range: $65,000 - $75,000 a year
WORK PERFORMED
- Develop, execute, and evaluate departmental goals, policies, and procedures to maintain high-quality standards.
- Implement systems for seamless facility operations during regular and emergency situations.
- Ensure compliance with licensing and industry standards for providing nutritious meals to residents.
- Foster communication and relationships with management, professional organizations, suppliers, and the community.
- Supervise, hire, schedule, and evaluate staff in Food Service, Laundry, and Housekeeping departments.
- Investigate and address complaints related to housekeeping, laundry, and dietary services.
- Conduct orientation and in-service training for staff, establishing and maintaining work standards.
- You are a Certified member of the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (CSNM).
- You have a minimum three years of experience in the food service industry.
- You have experience in managing staff, preferably in a complex care or assisted living setting.
- You have excellent communication skills.
