JOB SUMMARY
Position: Child Care Centre Cook / Nutrition Support
Company: Medicine Hat YMCA
Job Location: Medicine Hat, AB
Terms: Full-time/ Part-time
Job salary: $25 an hour

Work Performed:

• Menu creation, including meals and snacks for a variety of ages, while staying within a provided budget
• Daily meal preparation for over 100 students
• Transportation of meals to secondary location
• Creation of supply lists, receiving food order and creation of inventory checklists
• Ensuring safety and sanitization of the kitchen area
• Nutritional education
• Washing dishes after meals/snacks
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Standard First Aid, CPR-Level C
• Evidence of a clear Police Information Check (with Vulnerable Sector Search if applicable), within the last six months
• Current Food Handling Certification
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a class 07 automobile insurance coverage business use (or pleasure with occasional business use) and a minimum of $2,000,000 in liability coverage.
• Child Intervention check
