WORK PERFORMED
- Oversee an incredible dining experience in all Food & Beverage operations including Sky Bistro, Northern Lights, Peak Patio and Castle Mountain Coffee Company
- Continue to drive exceptional guest and team experiences, using guest experience scores and NPS.
- Assisting, investing, and driving the hiring of talent, training, coaching, development, and retention of team members
- Lead the day-to-day operations, by supporting all LOBS within the Gondola, focused on consistently delivering exceptional guest service standards and increasing sales
- Create a culture of empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement and a passion for providing exceptional service and support to our teams.
- Anticipate challenges with a collaborative solution driven strategy that will enhance the performance of the Gondola food and beverage operations, following all SOPs and lines of communication.
- Assist and hold accountable all LOB leaders to their forecasts and budgets.
- Preparation and approval of all monthly forecasting and reports and assist in the
- development, implementation and monitoring the budget to maximize revenues.
- Participate in month end inventory, troubleshooting and correcting with all LOB leaders.
- Identify and correct inventory trends or COG issues.
- Participate in the budgeting process – develop, implement and manage the budget, forecast, inventory and operating cost for the various outlets to maximize revenue and manage expenses

- Ability to manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines
- Work with Group and Event Management to delivery high standards in all cooperate event
- While reporting to the GM Banff Gondola, establish strong partnerships with the Gondola leadership team and all Pursuit Collection leaders including the Senior Director Food and Beverage Banff Jasper Collection and support services.
- Collect, communicate and lead the efforts to know and understand our guests, guest trends, innovation, and product development
- Be with the team and guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels; follow up and communicate feedback from guests and team to improve overall experience
- Be an active and supportive member of the team.
- Assist with planning, innovation and execution of functions and events
- Creatively assist in development and implementation of F&B promotions for Sky Bistro, Northern Lights, Peak Patio and Castle Mountain Coffee Company by working with LOB leaders.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of experience in elevated hospitality, travel industries experiences and attraction-based F&B
- Proven high end food and beverage leadership experience / Wine knowledge and fine dining management experience
- Thrives in a fast paced and high energy work environment
- Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS) / Proven creativity and inspiring food and beverages trends and best practices
- Experience with best in class operating systems, training, staff development and the operational management of large and complex operations
- Expertise in building relationships and working on teams across all levels of an organization, particularly with operating teams, line supervisors, seasonal staff from a broad range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds
- Able to create “followership” through modelling our core values and best practices
- Experience with financial management and creating strong employee and guest satisfaction
