Volunteer Judges Wanted:
Hi we're looking for
some Volunteer judges in the culinary world.
Every year girls ages
12-17 from metro Vancouver compete in our Girl Guides of Canada West Coast Area
Iron Chef camp cooking competition. Girls create three dishes, appetizer, main,
and dessert all over a camp stove with a limited supply of food chosen by
lottery.
Girls are judged on
taste, presentation, creativity, and nutrition.
We are hoping to have
three judges from the Culinary world ( Cooks, Dietitians, Food Services
Managers and students in those fields) help us out.
Date: Saturday October 27th
Location: Fisher Field
Picnic Shelter, Deas Island Regional Park, Delta
Event runs 12:30-5:00
Judging starts at 2:30 and results are announced at 4:30 you would need to
arrive around 2:00 pm to meet your judging partners and stay till at least 4:00
pm
