Your CSNM Board of Directors has been busy behind the scenes preparing for our upcoming Strategic Planning Session. This typically happens every three years, and this year is the year we will set in motion the plan for 2020 – 2022.

Through member surveys, we have heard from you on a wide range of issues affecting you as a Nutrition Manager and the benefit and value you receive from your CSNM Membership. This year's planning began back in May. Working with our Facilitator, Kristin Arnold, she has worked with the Board to narrow down “strategic topics” that have come out loud and clear from members, board members and other CSNM stakeholders.

To this end, we are hosting a series of focus groups, each with a different focus topic. You are invited to attend any sessions that are of interest to you and to be part of the conversation. Each focus group session will be moderated by one of our Board members with the hopes of answering the following questions:
  • What is the current state for the process topic?
And What are the key trends that relate to this process topic
  • What is the desired state/desired vision for the process topic?
(you can include a 3-5 year vision)
  • What are the issues/challenges factors that we should be aware of related to this process topic?
  • What are the desired outcomes for this process topic?
  • What are the specific recommendations for this process topic?
Each focus group will last no longer than one hour and all will start at 7:30 pm ET. These calls will be held via Zoom – you may log in and join using your computer or by phone. Below is the topic list and dates, thru our registration system you will be able to register for the session(s) you are interested in attending:
