Hospitality Manager - Kelowna, BC



We are seeking a talented and dedicated individual to lead our kitchen and environmental management services at our 101 bed Long Term Care Facility.
This position is responsible for supervising and managing the staff in our kitchen, housekeeping and laundry departments. Implementing, improving and championing our resident meal satisfaction, food safety and inflectional control programs, and being an important part of a positive supportive team.

Duties:
Ensuring all quality controls are met for every product served to Residents
Ordering of all products in accordance with buying specifications.
Recruiting, hiring, orientation, appraising, coaching and discipline of all support service staff
Liaising with the clients and interdisciplinary health care team as required and / or as requested.
Attend and be part of Resident Council
Ensure resident satisfaction through surveys, meal rounds and regular communication.
Prepare menus for daily service as well as special functions.
Maintain appropriate budgetary and cost controls.
Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of resident preferences and incorporate these preferences into service delivery.

Qualifications
A minimum of two (2) years Hospitality Management experience in a Health Care environment and directing a team in a related field.Certified Dietary Manager
Intermediate level of expertise with Word, Excel and Outlook.
Maintain excellent relationships with clients and customers.
Strong problem solving, organization and coordination skills.
Excellent leadership, coaching and supervisory abilities.
Positive energetic personality.
