Job Summary
Now, if you were to come on board as an Operations Manager, we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Provide leadership in financial planning, stewardship, and forecasting
- Review financial reports, recognize variations, and provide corrective actions to achieve budget
- Responsible for food cost and production as well room cleaning and janitorial
- Ensure the effective utilization and control of assets
- Develop objectives and ensure plans of action are outlined
- Develop strategies for optimizing operations and maximizing revenues
- Ensure sub-contractors are managed and utilized to highest potential
- Develop solid communications with staff and customers
- Ensure efficient and effective maintenance of all assets
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities
- Guide subordinates in achieving organization’s goals and objectives
- Minimum 5 years’ experience at managerial level
- Bachelor’s degree, college diploma or relevant experience preferred
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a remote camp environment
- Basic knowledge required in establishing, implementing, and training Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health/Quality Assurance policies and practices
- Knowledge of equipment and equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with clients, customers, employees and other stakeholders
- Solid skills in leadership, organization, planning, innovation and administrative
- Proven decision-making ability
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
