WORK PERFORMED 
  • Supporting patient food service for our busy Acute Care facility  
  • Support our team on a variety of shifts (days, possible evening or weekend coverage)
  • Manage a busy team of Diet Aides         
  • Lead and drive a strong safety culture 
  • Lead your team with passion and strong customer service focus  
  • Strong employee relations within a unionized environment
  • Good business acumen working with inventory, food and labour costs 

QUALIFICATIONS 
  • CSNM designation  is mandatory, experience working with acute and long term care facilities is an asset
  • 2-4  years working with operations at the managerial/supervisory level
  • Effective oral and written communication skills are needed 
  • Management experience in a unionized environment 
  • Strong ability to manage and promote a safe work environment and lead a safety culture
  • Effective planning, organizing, and time management skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to select and develop people 
  • Ability to anticipate and solve problems
