Virtual Poster Expo
With the cancellation of the CNS 2020 Annual Conference due to COVID-19, CNS is moving an important conference tradition into a virtual format. Our Conference Poster program will take place in the form of a Virtual Poster Expo that will run from Thursday, May 7, 2020 until Friday, May 15, 2020. The Virtual Poster Expo is open for all to attend. Abstracts will be published in the journal of Applied Physiology, Nutrition and Metabolism (APNM)* - late-breaking abstract submissions excluded.What you can expect
All authors of accepted annual conference abstracts will be invited to post a digital version of their poster, along with the Text Abstract as it appears in the journal of APNM* and / or as originally submitted to CNS. Each poster section will include a brief summary of the research and the opportunity for visitors to ask questions or start a dialogue with the authors. Participation in the Virtual Poster Expo is optional and authors are not required to participate.Oral and Poster Award Competitions
The eight finalists of the Oral and Poster Competitions will be profiled in the Virtual Poster Expo.- The Oral Competitions will take place via two 75-minute webinars on Thursday, May 7 (CLICK TO REGISTER) and Friday, May 8, 2020 (CLICK TO REGISTER), 12:00 - 1:15pm ET. Each of the chosen eight finalists will have the opportunity to present their research during 15-minute time slots, including Q and As. These webinars will be open to anyone who wishes to register (free of charge) to attend. See presentation schedules here.
- The Poster Competitions will take place via closed online meetings between finalists and a judges’ panel on Monday, May 11, 2020.
CNS will announce the recipients of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Oral and Poster competitions on Wednesday, May 13, 2020.
