The Food Service Manager will be responsible for the day to day operations of the support staff in a long term seniors facility. The staffing team consists of Housekeepers, Laundry, Dietary Aides and Cooks.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Required culinary experience in the hotel, restaurant and or long term care industries (CSNM registration is required but we will sponsor education for the right person)
  • Minimum five years management experience in the above industries (experience in long term care considered an asset)
  • Ability to plan, organize, and direct the delivery of support services
  • Effective interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Customer service orientated
  • Ability to be “on-call”
  • Ability to travel if necessary
  • Experience: 5 years (Preferred)
