JOB SUMMARY
Position: Food Service Manager

Full/Part Time: Full-time
Salary: $70,000.00 per year
Work Performed:
- Develop positive client relationships and ensure overall satisfaction with food service, menu selection, and customer service.
- Develop personnel and provide guidance on performance management and improvement plans.
- Direct and monitor departmental activities including; quality assurance, ordering, inventory, supplies and equipment, menu development, and cost control.
- Ensure service excellence and consistency is maintained at all facilities
- Ensure employees comply with health and food safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain budgets, payroll records and review financial transactions to ensure fiscal responsibility within the department.
- Establish and/ or update standards, KPI's and quality audits for personnel performance and customer service.
- Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and training of personnel.
- Maintain compliance with industry, company, and legislative standards.
Qualifications:
- Post Secondary Education in Food & Beverage.
- 5 years progressive management experience.
- Strong leadership qualities and work ethics.
- Knowledge and experience managing people and projects.
- Knowledge of Food Safety Regulations and Camp Rules and Regulations.
- Advanced Food Safe certification, WHMIS, and First Aid with CPR certification preferred (training can be provided).
- Knowledge of Work Safety Regulations and Compliance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Ability to handle pressure, prioritize, meet deadlines and maintain efficiency.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
