WORK PERFORMED
The management position is responsible for operations of nutrition and support services (housekeeping & laundry) services in a safe, efficient, and effective manner, through staff supervision and administrative duties. The position monitors supply inventories, supply ordering and receipt of goods, and ensure compliance with all food safety regulations. The position assures dietary services supports creating and maintaining a home-like environment and relationships for the residents. Supervises a team integrated with Support Services and conducts safety audits of food and environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduation from a recognized Food Service Supervision program or equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
- Food safe Level Two certification
- WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) certification
- Membership in Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (CSNM)/Eligible for CSNM membership
- Experience in a Long Term Care facility is preferred
