Work Performed:
- In accordance with established vision and values of the organization, the Regional Diet Office Technician is responsible for maintaining the operation of the NH Regional Diet Office which serves the needs of patients, residents and staff in various food operations in Northern Health.
- The Regional Diet Office Technician is responsible for contributing to the maintenance of the CBORD system, which includes accurately updating patient diets and food preferences and entering personal menus.
- Other responsibilities include supporting Food Service staff in decision making at all NH sites and assisting in the planning, testing and execution of the emergency back up plans.
- The position also assists in the development and delivery of training programs for end users The Regional Diet Office Technician functionally reports to the Regional Manager, Nutrition and Food Information Systems, and maintains an operational reporting relationship to the CBORD Quality Coordinator Dietitian.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from a recognized two-year program in Food Service Supervision, plus one year’s recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
