JOB SUMMARY
Position: Restaurant Supervisor

- Supervise breakfast, lunch and dinner services supporting and delegating tasks to the front-of-house team, overseeing all aspects of the service
- Set up each service for success, checking reservations, assigning sections, compiling notes for each service’s pre-shift, conducting the pre-shift briefing, and checking that the restaurant is clean, tidy and ready for service
- Delegate tasks to the front of house team as appropriate, follow up on set expectations and hold team members accountable
- Ensure the standards of service and operational procedures are being adhered to
- Take note of opportunities to improve processes to strengthen the guest and staff experience
- Responsible for timely and effective service recovery
- Interact with guests and quality check their dining experience
- Provide ongoing suggested operational improvements to the Restaurant Manager
- Help conduct monthly inventory of stock
- Ensure FOH needs are ordered and healthy levels of product are maintained
- Ensure FOH spaces are clean and tidy
- Perform voids and other necessary transactions in the POS
- Assist in the ongoing training of the bartenders, servers, and support team members, finding coaching opportunities and furthering skill development
- Contribute to and help with employee performance reviews
- Assist in the scheduling of FOH employees
- Provide feedback to the F&B Manager on F&B team members’ performance and readiness for advancement opportunities.
- Serve tables as needed
- Bartend as needed, covering bartender breaks etc.
- Willing to assist other Food & Beverage operations within the hotel, including banquets, and perform any other duties as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS
- Passionate about the mountains and skiing & snowboarding
- 1-2 years restaurant supervisory experience
- Knowledge of table reservation software (OpenTable / TouchBistro)
- Serving it Right Certification
- Micros POS system experience
- Excellent food, wine and cocktail knowledge
- Ability to work as a team and demonstrate initiative
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to multi-task
- Dedicated to working within a dynamic team that focuses on collaboration and guest experience
- Passion for guest service and the ability to anticipate guest needs

- Must be available to work various shifts, including availability on weekends
