Position: Food Service Worker II, Team Leader SMH

Work Performed:

• Provides work direction and works with Food Service Worker I's to complete required tasks, such as warewashing, trayline service, overseeing late tray service.
• Acts as a resource for staff members according to established procedures and standards.
• Ensures that supplies needed are available, such as ordering dishwashing products; identifies shortages to the Supervisor as required.
• Ensures that all equipment in the work area is functioning correctly. Identifies any problems to the Supervisor. If repair is urgently required and the Supervisor is not available, calls Plant Services Department to request repair.
• Sanitizes equipment and working surfaces in order to maintain a clean and safe working environment; identifies problems and reports to the Supervisor.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Grade 10, plus one year's recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
