- Mantles Restaurant & Lounge, located in the lower lobby of the Sun Peaks Grand and the heart of the village core, welcomes hotel guests and visitors to Sun Peaks Resort and the local community.
- We are looking to hire a Food & Beverage Assistant Manager, a seasoned hospitality enthusiast with a taste for mountain adventures, to complement our existing team and to play a vital role in creating positive experiences for our guests while guiding the restaurant operation.
- The Food & Beverage Assistant Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation, directing the front-of-house team and working alongside the culinary team to ensure an exceptional guest experience is delivered and maintained while also caring for, supporting, and nurturing positive workplace culture.
- The candidate best suited to the operation is an accomplished communicator, who drives the guest experience, is passionate about food, drink, wine, and service, will work to assist the Restaurant Manager with tasks such as scheduling, inventory, and ordering, and is compliant with Health & Safety.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-2 Years of supervisory experience
- Serving it Right Certification
- Micros POS system experience
- Excellent food and wine knowledge
- Ability to work as a team as well as independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to motivate and support a team in a fast-paced environment, creating an innovative culture
- Passion for guest service and the proven ability to consistently anticipate guest needs
- Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to multi-task
