WORK PERFORMED
- Responsible for the effective and efficient production of quality food products and the provision of food and nutrition through food service delivery at the designated site(s).
- In keeping with Carewest's Frame of Reference, this position ensures food service delivery activities, such as receiving, distribution and inventory control at the designated site/s meets Carewest's expectations and customer satisfaction.
- Key accountabilities include managing and scheduling Food Services staff and volunteers, training and promoting a team environment and ensuring efficiency and delivery of excellent customer service.
- Performs other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum graduation from a recognized program in Food Services, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Executive Chef preparation, or equivalent is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant management/ supervisory experience required. Experience with Microsoft Office applications required. Filemaker or other database experience an asset. Excellent leadership skills.
